METAL JACKETED GASKETS
Metal jacketed gaskets consist of a core composed of a filling material (pure graphite, Teflon, mineral fibres, asbestos-free, ceramic) which is partially or totally covered by a metal jacket. They are used when a certain degree of compressibility is required to compensate for flange misalignments.
Depending on the application, they have different shapes and materials.
