Guide rings/tape
Guide elements that allow low-friction sliding by absorbing the radial loads to which a system would otherwise be subjected.
Both pre-formed bands and rings are available in a variety of materials including PTFE, filled PTFE (bronze, glass, carbon), or phenolic resin impregnated fabrics with lubricating elements for high radial load applications.
